António Louro is a specialist in the forestry sector, with a focus on management and territorial planning. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the development and implementation of methodologies aimed at reducing risk in forestry management. He served as a councilor and vice-president of the Mação Municipal Council for two decades, leaving a significant legacy in civil and forestry protection within the municipality.

He is the Founder and President of Aflomação, the Forestry Association of the Municipality of Mação, established in 2004. Additionally, António founded and presides over the Florestal Forum, a federation representing numerous Associations of Forest Producers across Portugal. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AZR-Gestão Territorial, S.A.
